The Olympic Club Wedding – Jamie and Andrew

Jamie and Andrew held their black tie wedding at The Olympic Club, requesting an adults only affair, to ensure their guests were allowed to let loose and thoroughly enjoy themselves…which, as you can see from the images, they did! 🙂 Leading up to the big day, I would chat with Jamie about how the planning was going, and every time she would nonchalantly say she wasn’t really thinking about it. She was easily one of the most casual soon-to-be brides I had ever met – which was a great introduction into her personality – which of course carried over into the wedding day theme. The majority of the Ceremony, as well as Reception, was all laughs, as stories of how the two reconnected at a party (after meeting at Princeton) and amusing stories of how they bonded over flying airplanes (yes, they’re actual pilots – see their airplane engagement photos – got the near 200 guests cracking up. Both Jamie and Andrew wanted to emphasize enjoying the party and adjusted the day accordingly with only 3 formal group photos and about 15 minutes of couples portraits, before having ample face time with their guests at the cocktail hour, for example. Throughout this time, I would walk around and consistently hear guests tell one another, “Those were the best vows ever!” If the reactions of the crowd don’t convince you, I don’t know what will! 😀 It really was a joyous evening for everyone involved, allowing me to easily capture the laughs and fun throughout the day. It seems to me, their plan worked perfectly! The Olympic Club Wedding

The Olympic Club Wedding The Ultimate Guide to Planning an Olympic Club Wedding (complete with pricing and photos) Curious on how to plan an Olympic Club wedding? Many couples choose this San Francisco wedding venue because of its stunning lighting and location, but from much experience they also provide exceptional service in keeping your wedding day as stress free as possible. If you are considering a golf course / country club wedding venue in San Francisco, read below for the steps on planning a wedding at this elegant venue. Why a wedding at The Olympic Club? An Olympic Club wedding is my preferred choice for a country club wedding venue in the San Francisco Bay Area, catering to those Couples who love the naturally lit interior with floor to ceiling windows that grace the ceremony area. Having photographed here several times, I have come to realize why it is where Barack Obama has golfed while visiting San Francisco, as the venue itself is so well maintained, the staff is on point, and the location of it by the ocean affords it some stunning views especially during sunset. This post is talking about the Lakeside Clubhouse specifically, since there is also another Olympic Club location (the City Clubhouse) in the heart of San Francisco. How much does an Olympic Club wedding cost? Packages: $9,000-$14,000 Olympic Club venue walkthrough The ceremony space is a gorgeous window ceiling that allows glorious lighting for photography. The reception dining hall is adjacent the main ceremony area, allowing guests to comfortably maneuver from one area to the next in between dining and dancing. In addition, a couple of patios overlooking the golf course offer scenic views during cocktail hour and sunset. The staging of the dining area allows for several hundred guests, with views on every wall overlooking the golf courses and natural scenery with open window views. Transgender Wedding Photos

Transgender Wedding Photos Court and Ash came from Australia to the US for this destination elopement, choosing Hastings House Garden Weddings for its secluded location to say their vows to each other. If you go through all of these transgender wedding photos, you will see how much fun and emotion the two had with their two guests as they sculpted a wedding day that gave them a “just us” experience. Ash never saw Court until she walked down the aisle, and his huge grin gave way that he was just as excited as she was to finally make it official! With Court’s best friend, a wedding planner at Stratford and Pearl, creating the perfect wedding timeline, it was only fitting she also participated in the intimate ceremony with a thoughtfully chosen poem to offer advice to the Couple.  After the ceremony we spent half an hour wandering the garden, taking advantage of the luscious space and savoring the moment. They were so playful and down for whatever ideas I tossed out, even “picking his nose” to get some awesome natural reactions. I have tried this idea with other Couples and have either been greeted with a confused face or enthusiastic compliance, to which they obviously went for the latter. It was so carefree and natural the entire time photographing them, and their energy and love for each other made it obvious they were made for each other. One of the main reasons I love elopements more than larger weddings is that I am able to connect with the Couple more intimately and that they are always so much calmer on their wedding day. There aren’t hundreds of guests for them to spend a few minutes with before they have to leave and focus on the next thing on the timeline…it is all about them and what they want to do.
