Piedmont Community Hall Wedding

Dana and James chose a Piedmont Community Hall wedding for their intimate and casual celebration, with 60 of their closest friends and family. In fact, several of the vendors (makeup, dessert, DJ) were close acquaintances and had the honor of contributing to their big day. The beauty of having a Piedmont Community Hall wedding is that this venue has a redwood amphitheater for the ceremony and a large hall available for the reception, allowing you a great wedding venue right outside Oakland.

This Piedmont Community Hall wedding was full of emotions, with both of them giving touching vows that drew both laughs and tears for them and those in attendance. During the ceremony, you could tell how close everyone was with the parents on both sides, giving hugs and kisses to the newlyweds and showing their love and support for their union.

Continuing on the emotional vows from the ceremony, the toast given during the reception drew more tears and trembling lips to James, as his best man recalled childhood memories with him and his late grandmother. Not to focus too much on the losses in their lives, immediately after the dinner program completed, they opened up the dance party with root beer floats for everyone to give a little sugar rush for the floor. This crowd was definitely one of the more wild and fun loving groups and the energy at which young and old celebrated was contagious, bringing constant smiles to my face as I was photographing them.
