This park actually has six different gardens that are excellent choices for an elopement or small wedding. Stevenson Garden is enclosed by a rustic gated adobe wall and is named for author Robert Louis Stevenson. First Theatre Garden and Larkin Garden, in particular, also provide excellent settings for a wedding.

Monterey Stone Chapel

You’ll find this chapel located amidst redwoods and gardens next to a turtle-filled pond. Wedding Locations Outside of Monterey
Lover’s Point Park (Pacific Grove)

While this community park just outside of Monterey has plenty of things for the community, it also serves as a beautiful site for a wedding. With an ocean view, a small beach, and manicured lawns, there are many different settings for becoming a couple. A rocky outcropping on the edge of the beach makes a great place for photos. Big Sur Lodge (Big Sur)
Pfeiffer State Park

Big Sur is extremely popular with nature lovers and this rustic getaway right in the middle of Pfeiffer State Park provides easy walking access to many potential sites. Reserve a cozy cabin and take advantage of a ceremony surrounded by California’s majestic redwoods. The Lodge itself has four different indoor and outdoor venues and wedding consultants. The Redwood Grove and McWay Falls are both popular location sand beautiful backdrops.
Huckleberry Hill (Pebble Beach)

Just outside of Monterey you’ll find Huckleberry Hill Nature Preserver, which is home to several trails with plenty of picturesque spots for an elopement. Find your and your love immersed in a wooded oasis with groves of live oak, Monterey pine, and cypress trees as well as patches of beautiful wildflowers. There is a bit of elevation gain and a short hike, so this spot is best for a small, casual no-frills ceremony for outdoor lovers.
Leal Vineyards (Hollister)

This facility has excellent options for elopements, small ceremonies, or mid-sized weddings. Leal Vineyards features three different settings. Say “I do” surrounded by sweeping hills of vineyards at the Lavanda, have a quaint candlelit ceremony in the Barrel Room, or opt for the Olea with twinkling lights and a tunnel of olive trees.
River Road Mansion (Salinas)

This Victorian mansion sports 10,000 square foot and a variety of luxury suites. Guests tend to prefer the gazebo as the setting for the ceremony.
Church of the Wayfarer (Carmel-By-the-Sea)

The Church of the Wayfarer is the oldest protestant church in Carmel-By-the-Sea and provides two opportunities for a ceremony. Couples may also ring the giant steeple bell afterwards to signify the occasion for all the town to hear.
Amphitheatre of the Redwoods (Corralitos)

Amidst a lush redwood forest in the Santa Cruz Mountains, the Amphitheatre of the Redwoods provides one of the most stunning settings for a wedding. They specialize in mid-week elopement packages or can provide traditional wedding ceremonies and receptions on the weekend. A popular feature is dancing next to a bonfire in a starlit meadow afterwards.
